MALE BETTA A betta loves all types of live foods, however, he will usually accept freeze-dried foods as well. Feed him one or two bite size pieces, of freeze-dried plankton, (yellow stuff) every day. Keep your betta in a warm location in your home and give the bowl a water change every week, always using a pinch of the water conditioner (blue crystal) to condition the water. If you put a mirror in front of your betta he will think he sees another and will extend his fins trying to exaggerate his size. Bettas, because of a special organ in their foreheads, can breathe air and therefore will do fine in a small bowl. Bettas should always be kept separate. Call if you have any additional questions.
